Bayside Brasserie (Unit upper 14, Mermaid Quay):
Describes itself as an 'oasis of style' but as its
punters are invited to choose from a big load of meat on
display (including veal) it seems more like an oasis of
cholesterol and saturated fat.
The
Deck Coffee House (18 Harrowby Street): Cafe and bar not
interested in vegan customers. (last
updated 18/07/2010)
Demiro's
(Unit 26, Mermaid Quay): Offers Spanish, Italian and Welsh
menus, none of it vegan. That's a big choice of stuff you
can't eat.
Eddie's Diner (Mermaid Quay): Diner without vegan
options.
Garcon (Mermaid Quay): This French restaurant
will adapt their extremely limited number of vegetarian
dishes to vegan. Sadly it is one of those places that
still feel it is acceptable to serve pate de foie gras.
Don’t imagine anyone reading this wants to go there.
Oriental Garden (The Red Dragon Centre): Chinese
restaurant not bothered with vegan customers.
Salt (Mermaid Quay): Bar that does not cater for
vegans.
Terra Nova Bar & Kitchen (Unit 9a, Mermaid
Quay): Another bar that does not cater for vegans.
Thomas's Restaurant (Future Inn, Red Dragon
Centre): It's not really a problem that this place is not
interested in catering for vegans, as so many other places
nearby will. Go to one of them instead.
