Comments:
Cater for vegans. All dishes are prepared freshly to
order so they can be flexible. The menu indicates which
dishes are vegetarian and dairy free. At the time of
research these were:
Butternut squash & coriander soup with fresh locally
baked bread
Homemade houmous with olives & toasted ciabatta slices
Vegetable & bean casserole, flavoured with paprika &
cayenne pepper with pearl cous cous.

Our
Comments: Can
devise vegan lunch or supper menus but ask that you inform
them on booking. The soda bread they normally offer is not
vegan but they can provide suitable sourdough bread with
olive oil instead of butter. They will substitute olives
for the non-suitable amuse bouche.
If
you just turn up they can offer a vegan dish but prefer
prior notice to provide a balanced, thought out and
printed menu. They kindly supplied us with a recent vegan
menu offered to diners. Very clued up on veganism and they
had checked the sorbets on the menu did not contain animal
products.

Our
Comments: Local
vegans tell us this pub caters very well for vegans. There
is one marked option on the menu; Mediterranean roasted
vegetables with pasta. The chips are cooked separately
from animal products and they stock 'Pure' spread and
vegan mayonnaise. The website advertises they cater for
vegans but advises advance booking for best service. They
provide vegan Sunday lunches.
It is a
laid back place with an atmosphere like a friend's front
room. The landlord is a musician and there is live music
most nights.

This is a
bit of a strange one. It is a working organic farm that
